Hello Reader,

What if the parts of yourself you’ve spent years trying to fix were never proof that something was wrong with you?

You may have learned to believe that being worthy meant getting it right. Being strong. Being useful. Being agreeable. Healing enough. Accomplishing enough. Becoming the version of yourself that no one could criticize, reject, or find lacking.

But that version of you doesn’t exist.

And she doesn’t need to.

In my newest article, Flawed & Sacred: How Accepting Your Imperfections Helps You Overcome Fear and Limiting Beliefs, I explore what happens when perfectionism is really fear wearing respectable clothes.

Because sometimes the need to get everything right isn’t about excellence. It’s about trying to control the outcome so you won’t be hurt, disappointed, judged, or rejected.

Your egoic mind may tell you that if you can just become better, stronger, calmer, more healed, or more accomplished, then you’ll finally be worthy.

Your soulful self knows something different.

You were worthy before you got any of it right.

Accepting your imperfections doesn’t mean ignoring harmful patterns or refusing to grow. It means you can look honestly at what needs your attention without turning every misstep into evidence against yourself.

That’s where awareness changes everything.

A mistake can become information instead of identity.

A trigger can become an invitation to pause.

A fear can become something you listen to instead of automatically obey.

And the parts of yourself you once believed needed to be hidden may simply be asking to be understood.

You can still be learning and be worthy.

You can still be healing and be whole.

You can be flawed and sacred at the same time.

And if fear, perfectionism, or limiting beliefs have been quietly shaping your choices, this article also connects directly with the work in Soul Solutions for Overcoming Fear & Limiting Beliefs.

You don’t have to become flawless to move forward.

You only have to become aware enough to choose what comes next.

With love,

Terri

Hello Reader, You don't have to be good at art for a creative practice to be useful. That took me a while to understand because it's very easy to turn almost anything into another thing to do well. I know that pattern. But the point of the creative pause isn't the finished page. The point is what you notice while you're...

Explore journaling for personal growth and learn how a sacred pause can help you hear your inner wisdom, question fear, and make more authentic choices.

Hello Reader, Sometimes you don’t need another answer. You need enough quiet to hear the one that’s been trying to get your attention. I often say, “The ego screams, and the soul whispers.” For me, journaling has been one way to quiet that noise. My relationship with journaling hasn’t always been easy. I stopped writing for a time after someone read my private journal. But when I eventually returned to it, I discovered how much writing helped me listen to myself. Putting my thoughts on paper...
